Pastor Wingenroth was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania (many years ago!). As a result of his mother’s dedication to the Savior he was faithfully presented with the Gospel and accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of seven. As a teenager he worked on the staff of High Point Baptist Camp in Elverson, Pa. and continued to be actively involved in his church’s youth ministry. In 1971 he graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Bob Jones University. He worked as a sales representative for Swyngomatic Industries until the Lord redirected him to prepare for vocational ministry. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Baptist Bible Seminary of Pennsylvania, and accepted a call as the high school Bible teacher at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. It was there Pastor Wingenroth met and married Debbie (Krueger). The Lord blessed their home with a daughter, Alissa and a son, Matthew.
Pastor Wingenroth accepted calls to be the Senior Pastor of New Glarus Baptist Bible Church) in New Glarus Wisconsin (1981-1988), Farmington Hills Baptist Church in Farmington Hills Michigan (1988-2005), and now of Grace Baptist Church. He earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana in 2001. |
